That’s terrible customer service on their part. If anything, they should have compensated you with some money.

I was unfortunate in that I discovered your website AFTER this crash, but I do think the idea of it is amazing; trying to spread Japanese music to the rest of the world legally. :]
Maybe you could look into some way of using a part of this domain to put the site back up? Assuming you still want to.

In fact it is 100% legal. That policy is set by the record companies and it is only a policy not a law.
Buying from the iTunes store, no matter where you live, the artists gets paid, Apple gets paid and the record company gets paid- albeit the Japanese record company not the American one-heaven forbid.
